Jesibil River

This river in the dry season can be deadly to travelers attempting to cross it, while on the surface it seems a narrow slow moving waterway, it is much deeper than it appears and an undercurrent is strong enough to pull down and take away even the strongest of swimmers in little time. During the wetter seasons it is common for the river to overflow creating temporary marshlands. This river is also the northern boundary for The Kingdom of Berth. The only safe passage over the river leading into The Kingdom of Berth is at the ruined Lodrin Village. The river flows from the Northern Wastes along the edge of the Terem Mountains forming what most consider the eastern boundary of the Midlands. Where the river turns west it is flanked by a section of wilds and once crossing the river and wilds travelers will find themselves in the Southern Kingdoms. The Burning Light of Apollo Temple sits on the western bank of the river only a few days travel from where the river turns abruptly west, making it the most southern feature on a map of the midlands.
