A testament to change (a failure of fate)
Garden of the Sun
Tended by initiates of Apollo from the nearby Burning Light of Apollo Temple, this 3-acre garden is built around an ancient reservoir and aqueduct presumably created by the Dwarven Nations during their dominance of the area. The multi-tiered garden is home to large amounts of fruit, vegetables and herbs, along with a topiary maze filled with statues dedicated to the Midlands Pantheon. While it was converted to a garden when the temple was built, engineers surmise that based on nearby ruins and partial stonework it was going to eventually become a huge basin that would allow water to be supplied to areas as far away as 200 miles, and that the current reservoir is nothing more than outlet piping for the eventual dam that was sealed shut by sediment over the years.
The Pick of the Dwarven Kings has confirmed to its current bearers the engineers’ assessment.
